Tamang Heritage Trail – 12 Days

This uniquely designed Tamang Heritage trail for virtually all sorts of trekkers beginning at Syabrubesi takes you through exquisite cultural and natural magnificence. Besides the joy of viewing diversified landscapes inundated with natural opulence, it will be your great learning experience observing cultures of the Tamangs, interacting with them.

Cultural magnificence, because influenced by the Tibetan culture, and being remote, modernity has not crept in. Everything—arts, crafts, architecture, rituals, festivals, traditions, language, dresses—is still in its original form. Their hospitality is strikingly superlative.

Natural magnificence, because rolling hills, mountain peaks, and flora and fauna in the Langtang National Park are dazzling and unsurpassed.

The views of the Langtang Himal, the Ganesh Himal, and the Manaslu Himal are astoundingly alluring. In addition to it, the trek through the forest of rhododendrons is incomparably stunning. The park hosts a huge variety of plants and animals—oak, maple, pine, different species of rhododendrons, and Himalayan black bear, Himalayan tahr, Assam macaque and red pandas. With 25% of it forested, the Park is a haven for exotic flora and fauna.

Simikot Rara Lake Trek – 19 Days

The lake Rara is rhapsodic—its placid presence and aquamarine appearance are likened to a rhapsody. Appropriately it is the deepest and biggest freshwater lake in the far North-West of Nepal; the lake is a part of the smallest national park the Rara National Park.

The trek to the lake at an altitude of 2990 m begins after landing at the Simikot Airport. The flight will be from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj, and Nepalgunj to the aforementioned airport.

Right from the beginning, you will be uplifted by lush landscapes, colorful culture, and friendly folks.

The Rara National Park along with the Rara Lake is home to some ecologically important flora and fauna. Moreover, it has some rare species, and the entire ecosystem has uniquely evolved into something significant; consequently, it has some species endemic to Nepal—Nepalese snow trout, Rara snow trout, Rara Lake frog are a few of them.
